ACTS Hurricane Helene Relief
Each month, ACTS hosts eight food distributions in Aiken and the outlying communities (including Graniteville) in addition to their daily food pantry. Access to food is as important as ever. Many lost everything in their refrigerators and freezers which has created a financial setback, particularly for our low-income individuals and families who already struggle from day to day. Please place your donations in the sanctuary ACTS boxes at the alter. We plan to collect for at least one month. Below is a list of needs as of October 14, 2024, for our ACTS Graniteville Senior Food Pantry:
- Cereal (or oatmeal and grits)
- Canned and dry beans
- Tomato sauce
- Pasta
- Rice
- Canned salmon or chicken
- Soup (any variety)
- Complete meals (ravioli, beef stew, etc.)
- Canned fruit
- Macaroni and cheese
- Peanut butter
- Jelly
- Shelf stable milk
- Can openers
- Dish detergent
- Laundry detergent
- Diapers
- Wipes
- Hand sanitizers
- Personal hygiene items
- Feminine hygiene items
