Council Corner
Congregational Meeting – Our first annual St. John Methodist congregational meeting was held on 11/2/2025 at 3:00 PM in the sanctuary with eighteen (18) members present. I wish that more members had been present but hopefully we have more attend future meetings.
We discussed the status of our separation lawsuit as was discussed in November’s monthly newsletter and introduced our committee/council members for 2026. We especially thank John White for his years of service as our Lay Leader and welcome Chris Reames as our new Lay Leader.
If anyone wishes to volunteer to assist with any of the various church committees, please let one of the council members know. We welcome all who wish to help strengthen and support our church.
Separation Process – There is really no update on our separation process or its associated lawsuit since we shared in last month’s newsletter. If anything important occurs, we will share it during the next Sunday church service as well as in this format.
Please keep our church and its leaders in your prayers as we continue to navigate through the separation process. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know either in person or via call/text.
Hope everyone has an enjoyable holiday season and remembers the reason for the season.
Merry Christmas to all!!
