“Built by Sacrifice: Faith, Freedom, and the Future”
Scripture: 1 Peter 2:4-5 NRSV, Hebrews 12:1-2 NRSV
Theme: The future is built by faithful sacrifice. As we remember
the founding of the United States and the founding of St. John
Methodist Church, we honor those who prayed, gave, served, and
carried the faith before us. Their sacrifice reminds us that we are
not only heirs of a legacy — we are stewards of one. Now our
generation must decide what we will build, what we will sacrifice,
and what we will pass on for the glory of God.
