Spread Some Joy!
“Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit,a if any tenderness and compassion, then make my JOY complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind” (Philippians 2:1-2).
Throughout the past month I noticed that the back of the bulletin was getting quite full of upcoming activities at Saint John. I must say that it brings my heart joy that we are running out of space on the back of the bulletin—because it signifies that God is actively working through each and every one of you. Needless, to say that we have now entered into a “busy” season within the life of the church. We have annual charge conference coming up, fellowship meals, festivals to plan and soon—Christmas will be upon us. However, with all this busyness, let us remember to be busy with grace-filled hearts that are focused on sharing the loving gospel of Jesus Christ with others. In other words, spread some joy—the world needs it!
